Aniimo Creatures
The Aniilog, story companions, elements, and evolution stages Pathfinders will fill on Idyll.
Creatures in Aniimo are not disposable summons. Each line has a field role, one or two elements, a stage (Lumin → Gamma → Nova), and a Twine body you can inhabit. The Global Closed Beta’s official index listed about 94 named Aniimo. Launch marketing says more than 200 will be available, with extra forms tied to weather and biome. This hub is the index of what is actually named today, plus the systems that make catching them matter.
Start with the story pair: Helion vs Lunara. Then learn elements and evolutions so you do not spend Dew Drop crystals on the first extra Emberpup you see. Walk Idyll regions when you care which meadow actually holds the line.
What an Aniimo record contains
A complete Aniilog entry is more than a portrait:
- Number and name — Emberpup is #001; Helion sits on a special 9998-style index slot in community dumps because it is a story companion, not a wild catch in the same way.
- Element — Ice, Light, Fire, Dark, Lightning, Wind, Earth, Water, Grass. Dual-types exist (Inferlupa is Fire/Dark).
- Role — DPS, Break, Heal, Support, Regen. You only field four, so the fifth role is a bench decision. The team builder exists for that math.
- Stage — Lumin (baby), Gamma (middle), Nova (final). Some lines skip Gamma; a few Nova options branch (Pebbling is the famous split).
- Twine value — flying, swimming, burrowing, detecting, or a combat stance that only sings while inhabited.
Photography (Snap) and behaviour research feed the index too. Aniimo is part creature collector, part field journal. Completing an entry is not the same as winning a fight.
Lines every Pathfinder should recognise
You do not need all 94 names on day one. You do need these families because they teach the game:
Fire DPS — Emberpup → Flameruff → Scorchhowl, with Inferlupa as a Fire/Dark Break offshoot. The tutorial almost always puts an Emberpup in your path. It is a teaching tool, not a trap, but it should not be four of your four slots. See the PvE tier list.
Story Light/Holy — Helion and Lunara (Fennelun as Lunara’s evolution in index dumps). You choose one early. That choice is narrative and mechanical. Full comparison: starters.
Water Heal — Skippy → Pranky → Glacy, with Leafy as a Grass Regen cousin. If your first Alpha feels unbeatable, you are probably missing a Heal, not a bigger Scorchhowl.
Wind utility — Nimbi, Turbo, Somniwing, Eko. Eko was added after community requests for sound detection. Somniwing is the flying Twine people clip on social media. Rank those on the exploration list, not only on damage charts.
Earth/Rock walls — Budclaw, Shrubclaw, Cubbo, Grizbo, Pebbling. Break and bulk live here. Water and Wind punish them; plan the type chart before you park four Rocks in a cave.
Dark mages — Celestis → Stellarys, Helmut → Pawney → Rookey, Wisptis → Ignitis. High magic numbers, greedy matchups, and a habit of melting if Earth or Water looks at them.
Forms, weather, and Sparkling
The same species can show different colours and even different combat identities depending on biome and weather. Sparkling forms are the ultra-rare sheen testers hunted with extra Aniipods. Do not burn Prismatic pods on a common Lumin Emberpup in daylight — read how to catch first.
Launch trailers also promise forms that simply were not in the 94-name CBT dump. If a creator shows a “Regal Form” from the IDLX vote, treat it as a launch extra until it has an Aniilog number.
How to use this hub with the rest of the wiki
Catching without Twine knowledge wastes movement. Fighting without roles wastes Break. Evolving without a plan wastes crystals. The intended loop is:
- Getting Started so you have a Pathfinder and a mailbox.
- This index to know what you are looking at.
- How to catch and how to Twine.
- Combat plus tier lists when you build the four-slot team.
- Homeland when extras need a job besides sitting in storage.
Official art and spawn maps will keep expanding after 16 September 2026. We would rather list 94 confirmed names than pad this page with rumour creatures that never shipped.
Browse elements next if you only remember Fire and Water, or evolutions if your inventory is already full of Lumin dupes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers Pathfinders search for before launch.
How many Aniimo are in the game?
The Global CBT index listed about 94 named creatures. Launch marketing from Gamescom 2026 claims more than 200, including weather and biome forms.
What are Helion and Lunara?
Story companions you meet as a Pathfinder. They teach Twine and sit outside the normal wild-catch numbering. Compare them on starters.
Do creatures have types like Pokémon?
There are nine elements with unique matchups — not a copy of the Pokémon chart. Use the type chart and elements.
Can I play as the creatures?
Yes. That is Twine. See how to Twine. Traversal ranks live on the exploration tier list.
