Aniimo Homeland (RV Base)
Your pocket world on wheels: park extras on facilities, hatch eggs, and stop treating the RV as a screenshot lobby.
Homeland is the RV. Not a post-game house you unlock after the credits, not a hotel room the story dumps you in. Once the Institute (and NPC Fannie in beta onboarding) hands you the Ultimate RV, you own a pocket world you enter through the vehicle: facilities, furniture, extras at work, and a park slot among other Pathfinders’ RVs. Testers who skipped it to “keep exploring” ran out of Dewdrop crystals, eggs, and Aniipods, then wondered why evolutions felt gated.
The game is still upcoming — 16 September 2026 on PC and consoles, 23 September on mobile — so facility names can shift. The loop should not: go out, catch, fight, come home, let the parked team work, go out again. Pair this page with Getting Started so Homeland is hour-two, not week-two.
How you get the RV
Beta onboarding sent Pathfinders to Nimbus Fields, a conversation with Fannie, and a malfunction that wanted an Emberpup as a joke repair. You register at an RV park (tests talked about four parks on Idyll) and can visit other players’ Homelands from that neighbourhood. Online co-op (up to four) is for the field; Homeland is the social camp you return to, including horn / invite tools shown in previews.
PC shortcuts from the controls dump: 5 Homeland history, 6 Homeland Aniimo, 7 construction, 8 warehouse, 0 furniture store. You can also walk into the physical RV. Use whichever you will actually remember when an Alpha just deleted you.
Facilities are why extras have jobs
The land behind the portal is not only a photo set. You place machines that consume crops, ore, or electricity and spit the boring materials expeditions eat:
- Hatchinator — hatch eggs at home instead of camping an outpost machine. Testers could pet an egg to shave time, with a daily stroke quota that also worked on friends’ eggs if you visited.
- Aniipod Maker / mills / generators — beta names included an Aniipod Maker, Carousel Mill, Daylight Generator, Thunderhead Generator, Dewy House. Exact recipes will be patched; the point is production while you are away.
- Farming and mining plots — sugarcane-into-growth-buds style loops, surface ore, and “Huge” crop rolls. RV level gates power modes (tests mentioned power switches around levels 5–6).
- Park board — send Aniimo on short adventures / gather runs near the park, then collect when you return.
Park duplicate Lumin on a machine instead of releasing them for a handful of gems. A second Emberpup making growth buds is more useful than a second Emberpup cluttering the four field slots you need for Break and Heal. Catching advice on how to catch is “fill the Aniilog.” Homeland advice is “employ the leftovers.”
Home Coins and Flower Bud Coupons showed up as early RV currencies in the Fannie sequence (200 coupons and 80 coins in one beta script). Spend them on plots and functional objects before you blow the stack on a statue you will hide behind a mill.
Furniture, decorating, and the cabin
You can decorate inside the cabin and on the land: rotation down to 1°, resize, ponds, patio paint, Aniimo-shaped furniture, resting beds (Nimbus Bed and friends) that leave products when creatures play. That last bit is easy to miss if you treat beds as cosmetics. A resting Aniimo is a slow facility.
RV appearance upgrades (beta walked levels 1–6, with a Prismana Fentuft egg advertised at level 6 in creator tours) change how the vehicle looks in the park and unlock cabin components. Cosmetics do not replace a Heal in combat. They do make visiting a friend’s park less depressing, which is the actual social hook.
Electricity / power poles showed up as a Homeland layer: some machines want power, some plots want sun. If a facility is “on” and producing nothing, check power mode and whether the assigned Aniimo is actually deployed — notes for the Bond Pact event even warned that Aniimo out on expeditions could not be sealed. Same logic: a working extra is busy.
Why you return between expeditions
Idyll is large on purpose. Staying in the grass forever looks efficient and then you:
- Hit storage caps so Tumblers refuse to throw.
- Starve evolutions of Dewdrop crystals and family-specific parts.
- Miss hatch windows.
- Skip warehouse / construction upgrades that would have printed Aniipods while you photographed Nimbi.
- Let extras sit idle in a box instead of on a mill.
A healthy session shape from CBT: one or two biomes of catching and Alphas, a park visit to empty machines and restaff, a furniture pass only if you have leftover coins, back out. Diamond Egg Heist and other PvP modes still dump you into the world; they do not print Homeland materials. The RV is the craft bench those modes assume you have.
Co-op friends can visit. That is not local split-screen — Aniimo’s co-op is online. Leave the Homeland public if you want pet-the-egg help; close it if you are hiding a Sparkling you have not photographed yet.
What Homeland is not
- It is not a replacement for New Player Courses. Facilities will not teach Twine.
- It is not a code machine. Gifts still arrive in mail (how to redeem).
- It is not CBT progress waiting for you. Global CBT wiped. Launch RV starts empty on 16 September 2026.
- It is not optional flavour if you care about Nova stages. The evolution page and this page are the same economy.
Build the Hatchinator, staff a mill, put the ugly duplicates to work, and leave the photogenic Nova team in the four field slots. Idyll rewards Pathfinders who treat the RV as a factory with a view, not as a lobby they screenshot once and abandon.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers Pathfinders search for before launch.
What is Homeland in Aniimo?
Your RV base: a pocket world with facilities, furniture, and parked Aniimo. You unlock it during onboarding, not after the credits.
Why should I go back to the RV?
Facilities print evolution materials, Aniipods, and hatches while you explore. Skipping Homeland is how testers stalled on Dewdrop crystals.
What should I do with extra catches?
Park them on machines or resting beds instead of releasing everything. See how to catch and evolutions.
Can friends visit my Homeland?
Yes. RV parks were social in tests, including visiting other Homelands. Co-op itself is online (up to four) in the field.
Will my beta RV carry to launch?
No. Global CBT was a data-wipe test. Recap: closed beta. Start the factory again on 16 September 2026.
